21 Days of Baby-Toddler Summer Fun

Summer is upon us. As we wage the heat and battle the thunderstorms, as parents, we also have to keep our children busy. If you are a stay at home parent like me, with young children, then I am sure it is a constant battle to entertain your tiny tykes and keep them busy. Sometimes we just need a second to scrub a toilet, sweep up some dirt, or maybe even take a sip of coffee. Sometimes, we want to spend time with our little ones and have fun in the process. Sometimes, we want to take in the warmth and beauty of the summer but aren’t quite sure how to do that with  a toddler in toe. So, how do we make the most out of summer?

If you are an unfortunate soul like me with a one year old, sometimes finding things to do can be as easy as opening a cupboard, as tedious as singing the Itsy Bitsy spider a thousand times, or as difficult as setting up an obstacle course to keep their little minds busy for .02 seconds. Finding activities to keep a one year old busy can be tough. They’re at that ripe age where the fun can began, but not old enough to participate in many of the toddler actives because their motor skills are just not quite there yet. So, what is a mom to do?

I have scorned the internet, jotted down a few notes, and have done a little research of my own. I have come up with some fun summer activities that can entertain both you and your baby toddler, or keep that tiny tyke busy enough so that you can enjoy a nice hot cup of coffee.

I introduce to you my 21 Days of Baby-Toddler Summer Fun. For the next 21 days I will be giving you some fun, creative, and possibly exhausting summer activities that will make this a summer to remember.
